Nicaragua Surf Spots

There is a need for a better interface to Google Maps and Google Earth for surfers. With all the technology available we should be able to create a web site that allows surfers to add, edit, and enrich surf spot information and have it geo-located and available on Google Maps and Google Earth.

Well, that’s exactly what SurfMaps 2.0 is all about. The developers at SurfMaps.com are creating the first, real, community-based surf adventure travel guide. The BETA version will be available in the Spring of 2007. You should be able to register for the BETA at http://www.surfmaps.com
